    Why buy Remanufactured / Compatible Cartridges?

    OEM, also know as Original equipment manufacturers cartridges are manufactured by the printer company that made your printer. They are the toner cartridges installed when you bought your laser printer. For example, if you have a Hewlett-Packard laser printer then the HP laser toner cartridge is the OEM brand cartridge for your printer.

    Used or empty OEM cartridges that are refurbished, cleaned, reassembled and refilled with new quality toner. In the remanufacturing process, key parts including the corona wires assembly, roller and drum are inspected and checked for damage. Any worn parts found in the cartridge are replaced with new ones. These remanufactured toner cartridges under go quality testing to make sure they will work perfectly with your laser printers. These are the “greenest” of the cartridges out there.

    Toner cartridges manufactured by third-party companies and made entirely of new parts. These compatible toner cartridges provide the same print quality and print capacity as OEM toner cartridges but also come at a lower price.

    It’s environmentally correct and more cost effective. Remanufacturers refill depleted cartridges, keeping thousands of tons of industrial grade plastic and metals from ending up in the landfills each year. These cartridges usually cost at least 30 percent less than those sold by OEM’s (original equipment manufacturers).
